News — Christmas Cards

Hello!  It's Sara, from Much Love, Sara. Today, I'm sharing a fun Christmas card, created with a few products from this month's release.   I began this card by stamping the Winter Has Come to Town image onto white card stock, using Black Hybrid Ink.  I chose the house I wanted to use, and colored in the image, using my Prismacolor pencils.  Then, I fussy cut the house out.  Using the Clouds Die, I cut snow drifts to adhere around the base of the house.  While I had this stamp set out, I also stamped the sentiment onto dark green card stock, using Versamark ink, and then heat embossed it in copper.  ...

Monochromatic Christmas cards: Hey cardmaking friends, welcome back.  Sandi MacIver here with a little Christmas Card inspiration for you today. Christmas in July seems to be the theme all over the cardmaking world this month.  It's a great time to start mass producing those holiday cards before life gets super hectic. I was playing with some of the new products in this month's release and came up with two Monochromatic Christmas Cards that are great for mass producing.  They are also flat, so no extra postage required...that's a big deal when you are sending out a lot of cards right?...

Hello! It’s Rachelle here and I’ve got a CAS Christmas Card to share with you today featuring Paper Glitz blending and the NEW Nativity Slim Line Die Cutting System Insert! This card would be so easy to mass produce and the two-toned Paper Glitz background is perfect against this peaceful die cut nativity scene. I began by spreading quarter-sized dollops of “Snow Drifts” and “Fall Golds” Paper Glitz onto a piece of 100# white card stock. Hello!  I'm Sara, from Much Love, Sara.  And, today, it's the MOST WONDERFUL TIME of the month - it's release day for Picket Fence Studios!  This month the stamps and stencils being released, are focused around the holidays. 

On release day, I like to share a quick peek of all of the new products in the release.  Then, I have a couple of cards to share with you, using some new stamps.  I'm also sharing a massive crafty "fail" today - because now I can look back on it and laugh.
